A Smarter Way to Integrate: Introducing the Integration Recommendation Feature

Get started faster with the right integration from day one

Integrating your shop with Trusted Shops should be simple and efficient. To make this process even smoother, we are introducing the new Integration Recommendation feature in the Control Centre.

The feature automatically detects which e-commerce platform your shop uses (for example, Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento) and suggests the most suitable integration path directly within your Control Centre.
This ensures that every new customer can connect Trusted Shops in the fastest and most reliable way possible.

How it works

The Integration Recommendation uses BuiltWith data to identify the underlying technology of your shop. Once detected, you will see a clear recommendation banner in your integration area such as:

"It looks like you’re using Shopify. Here’s the best way to integrate Trusted Shops for your platform."

From there, you can go directly to the recommended plugin or setup guide in our Marketplace. This reduces the need to search for documentation and helps you get started immediately.

Safe, compliant, and ready to scale

The feature uses only technical metadata provided by BuiltWith and does not access or store personal data. It fully complies with data protection requirements while offering a more efficient integration process.

The Integration Recommendation is available to all new B2B customers who are not yet integrated and have not skipped the recommendation manually. The rollout will continue over the coming weeks.

This feature is an important step toward a more personalised and streamlined onboarding experience. In the future, we plan to extend this functionality with additional recommendations and automation to further simplify integration with Trusted Shops.
