With the newly integrated #trstd login, a shopper prompts your website to prove its authenticity. Your website does this by displaying the shopper’s personal #trstd secret. This is how you protect your customers from scams. Once activated, a single click is all it takes to confirm that the Trusted Shops Trustmark is genuine—without the customer ever having to leave your shop or check your profile.
Fakes are scaling in both quantity and quality. It is simply no longer possible to visually distinguish between real and fake. No one wants to fall for a scam, which is why even genuine sites are increasingly being questioned. With #trstd login, we have the solution.
When a shopper clicks on the Trustbadge AI+, a layer opens on your website. A button within this layer can request the #trstd secret as proof of authenticity. Fake shops cannot display this.
Shoppers who are already registered with #trstd will typically see their personal #trstd secret displayed in your shop immediately. Once active, the secret appears directly upon clicking the Trustbadge AI+, even if the visitor left the site in the meantime.
If your visitor has installed our Trusted Shops App on their smartphone and returns to your site later, a notification will confirm that they are on the genuine site.
