The eCommerce Expo 2019 in London is just around the corner again. Trusted Shops had such a great time last year, we’ve decided to come back with an even bigger booth and a bigger team this year. Join us on September 25th and 26th at Olympia London and see how Trusted Shops can help your business increase conversions through trust-building.
The expo will be an all-day affair for two days, open from 9:30 until 17:00 on Wednesday and from 9:30 until 16:30 on Thursday.
The event will be co-located with Technology for Marketing as well as Ad:tech London, so guest passes include access to all three events. If your online business needs help in any shape or form, there’s a good chance you can find a solution that works for you at this event!
Best of all, tickets for visitors are free, so if you want to reserve a ticket, make sure you do it now!
Speakers at eCommerce Expo 2019
Besides products and services available for you to browse, there will be plenty of educational opportunities as well. This year, there will be over 300 speakers to talk about their successes and failures as well as trending topics and what you can expect to see in the future of e-commerce. For more information on the speakers and presentations, check them out here. Be sure to toggle between the 25th of September and the 26th to get the complete overview.
Who are we looking forward to seeing?
Well, but we did notice quite a few presentations that looked interesting, but with around 300 speakers, we wish we could see them all.
Speaking of wishes, one interesting speaker will be Product Manager at Wish, the popular marketplace app – Adam Hundt. He’ll be talking about the mobile commerce opportunity. This will take place at 12:30 on the 25th at the Keynote Theatre.
One interesting panel discussion that jumped out at me was “How can you effectively use marketplaces in your e-commerce strategy?”, which will take place at 12:00 on the 25th at the Omnichannel Theatre. We’ve actually covered this topic in one of our blogs about marketplaces. We’ve also written a whitepaper on the topic (click on the banner below for your free copy).
Do topics like the future of e-commerce tickle your fance more? Jason Perry will discuss one of the most controversial ideas in retail – drone deliveries. Check out this presentation at 10:35 on the 25th at the Delivery & Fulfilment Theatre.
For a more serious look at logistics, perhaps you’d fine the panel discussion “Customer experience: Delivering on the online promise” more interesting. This takes place at 12:00 on the 25th at the Delivery & Fulfilment Theatre.
An interesting panel will take place on the 26th about subscription models (at 11:55 at the Keynote Theatre). We’ve covered the topic of subscription-based business models in the past. It could be an interesting talk for some industries.
As you can imagine, the Cross Border theatre will be hosting a lot of speakers on the topics of internationalisation and cross-border growth. Our very own Veronika Kaioukova (Market Manager UK & International at Trusted Shops) will have an interview with Pascal Ebadian from Bloom & Wild to see how they were able to be successful in the German market. It takes place at 14:30 on the 25th at the Cross Border Theatre. Be sure not to miss it!
Interested in the German market? Check our free market analysis on Germany, one of the most mature e-commerce markets in Europe. Just click on the banner below.
I could keep going and going - so many of the talks sound incredibly interesting. Again, you can check out the entire programme for the eCommerce Expo for a complete overview.
Trusted Shops at the eCommerce Expo 2019
If your shop gets plenty of traffic, but is lacking in conversions, Trusted Shops’ solutions might be what you’re looking for. Our main objective is to help companies build trust with their site’s visitors.
With the most-recognised trustmark in Europe, we can help online shops build trust with shoppers in their home country and across Europe.
On top of that, we offer customer review products (a closed review system) as well as some legal products (like our Abmahnung Package – a great product if you expand into the German market).

We’ll have a booth open to talk to you if you have any questions for us, so please feel free to stop by – we’ll be at stand N60, level 1.
Better yet, you can book an appointment with us now and one of our consultants would be glad to have a look at your online shop and have a chat with you.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the expo! We look forward to seeing you there!
